Jet Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Because of Fracture in Cockpit Window
A jet transporting Pete Hegseth was required to make an emergency landing in the UK on Wednesday following a fracture was found in the jet's front window, as stated by an announcement which verified that all passengers were secure.
"The aircraft landed following established safety measures and all individuals on the flight, including Secretary Hegseth, is secure," a spokesperson stated in a social media post.
Hegseth was returning from a quick journey to Brussels at the time.
This incident isn't the initial instance that a US military aircraft ferrying a senior official has suffered mechanical issues.
Months ago, a American military jet carrying Marco Rubio to the German city of Munich was forced to head back to the US capital after experiencing a technical issue.
