Two men have been charged in connection with a suitcase robbery where a believed to be pepper spray caused injuries at the UK's busiest airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two robbery charges and two counts of deploying a toxic agent, authorities have stated.

These accusations come after an probe of an attack at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Earlier that day, two female travelers had their luggage stolen after exiting a car park lift, according to law enforcement.

A three-year-old girl was among those injured in the event. Five people were taken to a medical facility and were later discharged.

This event – which authorities stated was not part of a series and not being treated as terrorism – led to train delays and the partial closure of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a short time.
